Answer: A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear in the end semester examinations. Attendance of a student is calculated from the date of commencement of program or date of fee payment (whichever is later).

Answer: Students who want to request for Program Change need to mail to the admission (admissions@kol.amity.edu) and talk to the respective counsellor for the same.

Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for the change sought is mandatory. Change is subject to approval by the admission committee. An additional amount of Rs. 1500/- is charged, if the request is approved.

Answer: Please note that in case of withdrawal (post programme change/Fee transfer from one program to another), the refund amount will be processed, keeping the programme with higher fees into consideration.

Answer: Students can make the payment through following options:

Fee Payment: You may make the payment as per following options:

Option-I : Online Payment using Debit Card / Credit Card / Net banking / Paytm through link available on admission microsite  (https://portal.amity.edu/NewOnlineForm/Candidate/SignIn)

Option-II : Through Pay Order / Demand Draft to be deposited at Admissions Office, Amity University, Kolkata, Block - A, Major Arterial Road (South-East), AA II, Newtown, Kolkata, West Bengal 700135 between 9.30 A.M. to 4 P.M on any working day. Please bring along with you a printout of your Admission letter.

The pay order / demand draft should be payable at Kolkata and made in the following format:

• In favour of "AMITY UNIVERSITY" for submitting Academic Fee and Academic Security.
• In favour of "Amity Hostel Fee" (if allotted hostel) for submitting Hostel Fee and Hostel Security.

Please Note: Payments in form of cheque or cash are not accepted at Amity University kolkata.

Answer: If you cannot pay the fees by the due date, you are required to approach the admission office. Request for extension date will be considered by the Admission Committee, depending on the availability of seats.

Answer: Amizone is a portal through which student can access vital information pertaining to academic and administration. It constitutes an IT nerve center for dissemination of information and instruction relevant to academic journey of the student during their tenure at Amity University. Amizone will be activated after realization of fee payment at Amity for Post-Graduate programs. For Under-Graduate programs Amizone will be activated after realization of fee payment and meeting the eligibility criteria of the selected program.

Answer: Students should report on commencement date of the Program. List of documents required at the time of reporting can be obtained from Admission Letter and Amizone.

Please Note: Students will not be allowed to register for the program/hostel 10 days post the commencement date under any circumstances. Hostel seat (if applicable) will automatically get cancelled.

Under “Amity Advantage Scheme”, 10% fee concession is offered to Amity Alumni, who wish to continue their higher education with Amity Kolkata Campus (applicable for pass outs of 2024 / 2025 / 2026 only)

Procedure to Apply:

• Documentary proof of successful completion of class 12th/ Graduation to be mailed to admissions@kol.amity.edu
• Concession shall be granted based on verification of documents by Admission Department.

Answer: Amity assures 100% placement assistance. In order to be eligible for the recruitment process, every student is required to achieve a minimum of 6 CGPA on a scale of 10 point.

Answer: Yes, Amity provides comprehensive hostel, fully Air Conditioned facilities for boys and girls separately within the University campus.

Answer: The hostel fee for 2026 session:

For AC Rooms- Rs. 1,39,000 per annum.

One-time Hostel Security Deposit of Rs. 15,000/- has to be paid along with the Hostel fee.

There are Multi cuisine cafeterias available in the campus. Students can choose the type of food they wish to have.

Answer: Refund shall be made as per University guidelines.

Scholarship case: If a student who is offered Amity scholarship decides to withdraw, he / she will be treated as a non-scholarship student and the withdrawal guidelines as given above will be applicable. 

100% Scholarship case: Security deposit will be forfeited in case a student applies for withdrawal after registration / reporting for the program. 

Hostel Refund: Hostel fee once paid will not be refunded in case of withdrawal at any point of time.
